GLamp
A new creation in the lighting sector hits the market: the GLAMP lamp arises from the combination of experimentation with mobile structures and wood, and the passion to look for new ways of lighting areas by emulating the warmth of materials to the environment. A comfortable atmosphere by wood decoration, the sound of the slats movements, and hot ambient light.
Inspired by the well-known Fun pendant lamp designed by Verner Panton, GLAMP seeks to bring an eternal and incurable design from the world of lighting to the present.
Created from sustainable and proximity raw materials and seeking to optimize the packaging of the object and its pieces to the minimum, GLAMP reinterprets that classic by putting the parameters and trends of contemporary design first and fighting to reduce the Carbon footprint.
The GLAMP lamp becomes a luminous hanging sculpture that plays with weightlessness, light, warmth, and sound.
The lamp consist of dozens of 18x18 mm brushed fir wood slats joined together by small black nails and 32 transparent nylon threads arranged and concentrically attached to the 30 cm diameter white lacquered wooden rose window.
The movement of the slats, when breeze or wind enters the room, produces a singular, relaxing, and peaceful sound that contributes to the uniqueness of this lamp.
The simplicity of this lamp contrasts with its versatility. The combination of its parts allows multiple design options.
GLAMP is available in 4 different formats:
